The Lawrence County Board has approved what it is calling a Second Amendment Rights resolution. Board members approved the resolution to disagree with the Illinois Legislature pending support of new gun laws.
The pending measure would place added waiting periods and age requirements for the purchase of firearms. The bills language also would put restrictions in place for ammunition.
