On March 23, 2021, the Commissioners of Fremont County, WY unanimously passed a Second Amendment Sanctuary resolution.
On February 16, 2021, the Niobrara County Wyoming Commission declared its county a Second Amendment Sanctuary.
The resolution 2020-19 was put forth by Sheriff Jeff Hodge and passed by the commission at a special meeting of the commission.
The resolution was brought tot he board for consideration by Commissioner Del Shelstad in response to protecting Campbell County citizens’ Second Amendment rights.
The Carbon County, Wyoming Board of County Commissioners has declared Carbon County to be a Second Amendment Preserve.
On April 7th 2020, the Sweetwater County, Wyoming Board of County Commissioners passed a Second Amendment Sanctuary County resolution.
AN ACT relating to the Wyoming Firearms Freedom Act; establishing a Wyoming Firearms Freedom Act; providing that specified firearms that are manufactured, sold, purchased, possessed and used exclusively within Wyoming shall be exempt from federal regulation, including registration requirements; providing exceptions; creating offenses; providing penalties; authorizing the attorney general to defend specified actions; providing legislative findings and declarations of authority; establishing conditions for the possession and purchase of specified firearms; and providing for an effective date.
