Cherokee County TX, leaders threw their support behind local constituents Tuesday, adopting a resolution declaring the County a Second Amendment Sanctuary.
Gonzales County has officially joined the wave of cities and counties across the country declaring themselves as a “Second Amendment sanctuary.”
On April 20, 2021, the City Council of Marble Falls City, Texas passed a resolution in support of the Second Amendment.
Motion was seconded by Commissioner Matt Pruitt and after considerable discussion, carried 5-0

Over fifty commissioners courts in the state of Texas have passed similar resolutions, with the majority declaring themselves to be “Second Amendment sanctuaries.”
On October 19, 2020, the Commissioners of Kerr County, Texas passed a Pro-Life Resolution declaring support for the unborn.
Kaufman County Commissioner Terry Barber presented a Kaufman County Republican Party resolution to make Kaufman County, Texas a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary. Commissioner Barber read the resolution before the Commissioners court and it was voted on.
On February 10, 2021 the Goldsmith City Council unanimously approved a Sanctuary City for the Unborn Ordinance.
Commissioners in Cooke County TX, unanimously approved a resolution put forth by Leon Klement, encouraging the state legislature to protect Second Amendment rights.
