On June 17, 2021, Gov. Greg Abbott signed HB 2622, the "Second Amendment Sanctuary State Act," making Texas the 15th 2A Sanctuary State.
On March 22, 2021 the Commissioners of Llano County, Texas passed a resolution declaring Llano County a Second Amendment Sanctuary.
On February 25, 2021, the Lipscomb County Texas Commissioners Court approved a resolution in support of the Second Amendment.
On February 10, 2021 the Goldsmith City Council unanimously approved a Sanctuary City for the Unborn Ordinance.
On June 9th, 2020, the Hood County Texas Commissioners Court passed a Sanctuary County for All Businesses resolution.
So far, 17 cities across the nation have passed ordinances delcaring themselves to be "Sanctuaries for the Unborn".
The Bowie County Commissioners Court voted to approve a resolution in support of "individual second amendment rights".
Anderson County Commissioners took the action to preserve the right of Anderson County residents to keep and bear arms, as provided by the Second Amendment. Declaring itself a Second Amendment Sanctuary monday 24th of Feb 2020.
