Stephens County Sheriff Wayne McKinney made a released a signed statement to declare Stephens County a Second Amendment Sanctuary. A week later the county commissioners backed up their sheriff by passing a resolution that was presented by the Sheriff to solidify the statement.
On Friday (Feb. 14) LeFlore County Sheriff Donnie Edwards announced the county will now be considered as “Second Amendment Sanctuary County.”
Two more county sheriffs have added their jurisdictions to the wave of counties declaring themselves as Second Amendment Sanctuaries in Oklahoma.
The undersigned McCurtain County Sheriff hereby declares McCurtain County as a "Second Amendment Sanctuary County"
