Choctaw County OK, declares Second Amendment Sanctuary
Now officials in some Texoma counties want to get on board. Sheriff's offices in Pittsburg, McCurtain, Atoka, Bryan, Coal and Pushmataha counties have decided to be second amendment sanctuaries.
The Atoka County Sheriff hereby expresses his intent that no public funds will be used in any manner to restrict the Second Amendment rights of the citizens of Atoka County.

Following after other area counties, Cotton County is the latest Texoma county to declare itself a Second Amendment Sanctuary County.
Joe Jane Sheriff of Kiowa County Oklahoma released to the public his designation of the county as a Sanctuary for the Second Amendment this fifteenth day of February 2020. Below is the released document.
