Town of Phillipsburg Resolution 2020-57 was passed after outcry from the primarily Republican population of the town.
In a vote of 5 to 0 the Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders passed the acceptance of a Second Amendment Resolution. The majority of those in attendance were in support of the resolution. Supporting verification below by the New Jersey Herald.
As posted by Monmouth County 2A Sanctuary facebook group the resolution was voted on and passed through the freeholders.
Feb 25 2020 the Cumberland County Freeholders pass a second amendment friendly resolution
On February 5, 2020, Salem County, New Jersey was Declared a Second Amendment / Lawful Gun Owner County by a unanimous vote.
At its Feb. 11 meeting, Dennis Township Committee unanimously approved a resolution declaring the municipality a "Second Amendment/Lawful Gun Owner Sanctuary," mirroring similar resolutions passed by other county municipalities, as well as county freeholders.
Atlantic County New Jersey freeholders passed its resolution 6-2 in favor deeming a "Second Amendment/Lawful Gun Owner County," with over 100 people in attendance.
Expressing their intent to uphold the Second Amendment rights of the citizens of Warren County, the Board of Chosen Freeholders unanimously passed a resolution declaring Warren a “Second Amendment / Lawful Gun Owner County.”
