Madison County, Mississippi Passes Second Amendment Safe Haven Resolution
On February 3rd, 2020, the Madison County, Mississippi Board of Supervisors passed a Second Amendment Safe Haven Resolution by a unanimous vote.

The resolution opposes any efforts to “unconstitutionally restrict” Second Amendment rights through any “legal means at its disposal.” These means include withholding public funds, and directing local law enforcement to not enforce “an unconstitutional law.”
DeSoto County, MS declares itself Second Amendment ‘safe haven’
Supervisor Lee Caldwell made the motion and Supervisor Mark Gardner seconded the motion to
establish DeSoto County as a 2nd amendment safe haven county and authorize the Board
President to sign the resolution stating such.
