While other counties in North Georgia have passed Second Amendment Sanctuary resolutions, Hart County expanded the scope of its resolution coming out in full support of the Constitution.

In an unexpected move Tuesday morning, Bulloch County Commissioners voted to approve the county as a “2A Sanctuary” county. This only means that commissioners support the Second Amendment and will not try to take away constitutional gun rights at any point in the future, but some misunderstood the move.

Coweta’s leaders affirmed their commitment to Second Amendment rights before a standing-room-only crowd at Tuesday night’s Coweta County Board of Commissioners meeting.

Butts County Board of Commissioners went forward with their proclamation instead of issuing a resolution 9th of March, 2020 brought forth by Chairman Ken Rivers.

Franklin County commissioners voted Monday to declare Franklin County a Second Amendment Sanctuary County.

Pickens County Georgia has unanimously passed a resolution affirming the second amendment and declaring the Board it is full support. After the reading of the resolution(Text Below), Chairman Robert Jones made a motion to bring the resolution to a vote and was seconded by Becky Denney, The vote was made and passed unanimously.

On Feb 16, 2021, the Commissioner and Sheriff of Towns County, GA signed a resolution declaring their county to be a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary.
