The commissioners and Garfield County Sheriff Lou Vallario vowed to defend the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
Commissioner Wadley moved to approve Resolution 2019-36 Declaring Archuleta County to be a Second Amendment Preservation County as presented. Commissioner Schaaf seconded the motion.
On the 28th day of March 2019, the Bent County Board of Commissioners joined fellow counties in addressing their grievances of the pending Anti-Second Amendment Laws passing through the state legislature by passing a resolution in defense of the Second Amendment.
