On April 27, 2021, Kosciusko County, Indiana Commissioners unanimously passed an ordinance declaring their county a Second Amendment Sanctuary. Kosciusko County had already passed a Constitutional Rights Sanctuary Ordinance on December 22, 2020, but decided to set a bright line in support of the Second Amendment by passing a separate ordinance declaring the county a Second Amendment Sanctuary.
