According to idahopress.com, the Kuna City Council voted to declare Kuna a Second Amendment Sanctuary city. Kuna is the fifth city in Idaho to pass such a resolution.

As with most Second Amendment Sanctuaries, the resolution states that the city will not be enforcing unconstitutional gun laws. Kuna mayor, Joe Stear, stated, “With the new administration coming in, the president, they have indicated they plan on taking action on (gun regulation), and we don’t support that. We don’t want a situation where police are being asked to go door to door taking people’s guns.”
