On March 17th 2020 Troup County Board of Commissioners passed a resolution supporting the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution during its regular board meeting as part of its special business agenda. A few weeks prior the County Sheriff James Woodruff approached the board to pass a second amendment sanctuary resolution. The resolution passed was a slight modification of that document.
