The board chose to not use the term ‘Sanctuary’ but gave clear and concise meaning to the resolution. The board has chosen to formally adopt the resolution on the 24th of March, The resolution is very similar tot he one used by Cass County.

Van Buren County Commissioners “This board urges all our elected state and federal officials to diligently protect and preserve these rights and further that we communicate this intention to them.”
