After a earlier days rally and more than two dozen speakers, the Sumner County Board of Commissioners voted to declare the county as a Second Amendment Sanctuary. An initial resolution 2002-03 that was bare bones was replaced by a more extensive version. After debate and modifications to the resolution it was called for an electronic vote which passed 18-4.
