Greg Hamilton and Paul McFeaters, spoke about Martin County becoming a 2A Sanctuary and the historic value the resolution could potentially have in the future. Attorney Lett stated that there are many Counties and States which are becoming involved with the 2A movement. Attorney Lett upon the Commissioners request prepared and read aloud Resolution 2020-2, a Resolution of the Martin County Board of Commissioners to Preserve the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. A motion to approve Resolution 2020-2 was made by Commissioner Summers, seconded by Commissioner Boyd. All in favor, the motion passed.
