A resolution reaffirming Lyon County’s commitment to upholding the rights granted by the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
WHEREAS, the constitution of the United States is the supreme law of our nation; and
WHEREAS, the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States states “A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”; and
WHEREAS, the Lyon County Fiscal Court wishes to express and resolve its affirmation of the rights granted by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LYON COUNTY FISCAL COURT:
The Lyon County Fiscal Court is committed to upholding the rights granted by the Second Amendment tot he Constitution of the United States, including but not limited to, the lawful right of the citizens of Lyon County to keep and bear arms.
