Dare County Board of Commissioners pass a resolution to protect the second amendment.
Representative Bobby Heiney spoke as a proponent to the resolution and cited the second amendment in his speech, and went on further to state that the right to bear arms in to protect the people from a tyrannical government.
A representative of the Outer Banks Gun Club which has 1386 members, also spoke briefly to back the proposed resolution. Several spoke in opposition, the majority of those who filled the room were in support of the document.
At 2:28:49 in the video the Resolution in Support of the Constitution of the United States of America was discussed subsequently brought up for vote (2:56:30) and passed unanimous.
