During a meeting with an overflowing attendance, the Meade County Fiscal Court heard concerns of several citizens and heard the support on maintaining the constitutional rights of the second amendment Tuesday (1/14) night.
During the public session, three citizens spoke in favor of the proposed resolution to make Meade County a 2A Sanctuary County. The resolution is more symbolic than actually creating policy, but supporters of the effort have rallied their voices across the state in an attempt to take a stand against state or even federal government from the confiscation of personal weapons. Meade County magistrates voted unanimously approving the resolution.
