Hopkins Co. TX, Commissioners Court Passes Resolution Declaring an ‘Second Amendment Sanctuary’

Hopkins County Commissioners Court passed a resolution last week resolving Hopkins County as a Second Amendment sanctuary. A growing number of counties in Texas have adopted similar resolutions including Wood, Titus, and Hunt Counties.

A Second Amendment sanctuary refers to resolutions adopted by some jurisdictions in the United States to not expend resources to enforce certain gun control measures perceived as violating the Second Amendment.
